AI explorations - Biopunk

In summer 2022 I explored new directions and I challenged myself by mixing different workflows, and making them collide with Midjourney. When I first heard about it, I wanted to see by myself what it was all about, what it was capable of, and what it wasn't.
These images are not direct renderings from the AI generator obviously, there is a lot of overpainting done and I spent way too much time on each of these lol. But still, I'd rather be upfront about it.
I'm not comfortable with all the ethics issues that Midjourney and other AI generators bring on the table, but I like the results of this illustrations. Also, I'm very curious (and somehow frightened a little) about how things will evolve.
I'll keep an eye on it.
